Scripture Saturday, - Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I felt that someone had to hear this verse today. Although it may not seem so, God has a plan for your life. May you be encouraged by this Word.

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to leave a Scripture that has been a real encouragement in recent days. It's a reminder to us that if we were to take control over our own lives, we would not begin to make it nearly as beautiful and in as much wisdom as God can and does. In fact, deciding to give up and to go our own way would be worse that foolish ... it will bring disaster. Isaiah 29:16 says it best.

"You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'He did not make me'? Can the pot say of the potter, 'He knows nothing'?

And the Lord encourages us that we will be victorious and glad when we see the final results of His work ...and even others who are not serving or who are rebellious him will be encouraged to seek the Lord(at least, that was my understanding).

"Therefore this is what the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, says to the house of Jacob: 'No longer will Jacob be ashamed; no longer will their faces grow pale. Whey they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. Those who are wayward in spirit will gain understanding; those who complain will accept instruction' " (Isaiah 29:22-24, NIV).

Keep trusting; only the Lord has the wisdom needed to shape and direct our lives.

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to leave a Scripture that has been a real encouragement in recent days. It's a reminder to us that if we were to take control over our own lives, we would not begin to make it nearly as beautiful, or design it with as much wisdom, as God can and already does.

And the Lord encourages us that we will be victorious and glad when we see the final results of His work ...and even others who are not serving Him or who are rebellious will be encouraged to seek the Lord at least, that was my understanding).

P.S. As Tash says, the Lord KNOWS the plans He has for us. Don't give up.
