Greetings to all my B.G.O. Brothers and Sisters:
I am absolutely amazed by the sequence of events that have transpired for me in this past week, and I no longer believe in mere coincidences, so here are just a few of them:
1) A Bible study group started at our church last Wednesday, and one of the points we focused on and discussed at length was how we are told to "Be still and know that I am God"
2)The James 1:12 scripture posted here on the site yesterday
3)In our service today, we looked at 2 Chronicles 20:5and onward and saw that when Jehoshaphat waas surrounded by hostile armies he focused on God who told him not to fear because He was in control.We also were shown how the record or history of his aide and assistance was proven throughout time, so our faith must not waver and we therefore ought to believe that God will give us victory when we doubt that He can or will. When times are particularly bad and confusing, the idea to be still, focus on prayer,and to not only expect to hear from Him, but to listen carefully for His answer is difficult, but important to try to accomplish that objective state in order to receive His communication.We must remember also that this communication may happen in a variety of unexpected ways.
I'll say again how truly amazed I am daily by His generous blessings and the outstanding ways that they are manifested.Furthermore isn't His timing impeccable! How can we not praise Him constantly?
